For the chapters on this blog, I am currently reading a chapter a day (I started in March 2018) out of the Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky translation, followed by comparing all the full translations' character names for each chapter, then comparing the alternative and abridged versions and adding notes to each chapter (currently from the War and Peace editions themselves and the books in the bibliography). Of course, I am behind on posting because of editing, but I will do my best to keep posting.
So, of course, reading a chapter a day will get you through the novel in a year. For more regular readers, a three month plan like the following (click to enlarge) may be suitable:
